The Fahd brand automatic edgebander, model Astra.50/6, is the perfect machine for processing wooden panels of different sizes. With a minimum width of 80 mm and a minimum length of 210 mm, this machine guarantees precise and detailed processing even for pieces with a maximum thickness of 50 mm and a minimum of 12 mm.
Equipped with a 2-litre Teflon-coated glue pot and a spreader roller for uniform glue application. The operating groups are managed by a 7'' touch screen PLC which ensures easy use of the machine.
The edge bander is capable of working with roll edges ranging in size from 0,4 mm to 3 mm, with a feed rate of 12 m/min, making it extremely efficient. Furthermore, the protective cabin for the gluing group and the operating groups guarantee maximum safety during use of the machine.
The Astra.50/6 has a trimming group and a gleaning group, both with micrometric adjustment and digital display for precise and personalized work. The edge pressure is guaranteed by two 70 mm pressure rollers, while the 3 mm thick roll edge cutter allows you to cut the edges very easily.
With a total installed power of 6 kW and an air pressure of 7 Bar, the Astra.50/6 is able to guarantee precise and fast machining, with a machine weight of 700 kg and a length of 2300 mm. The edge bander is also equipped with a support roller for large panels and three 100 mm extraction hoods to ensure dust and residue-free processing.
