The LT70 HEAVY DUTY sawmill represents a perfect fusion between the cutting head of the LT70 sawmill and the robust track of the WM4000 sawmill. This configuration offers an industrial level of production efficiency and the ease of use of a professional sawmill.
The cutting head of the LT70 HEAVY DUTY is designed to cut logs up to 95cm in diameter, with a maximum board width of 73cm and a cutting depth of 39cm. Uses standard blades 38 to 50 mm wide and 4670 mm long. The head is equipped with an electric blade guide arm to ensure secure fixation of the blade during cutting and an automatic lubrication system to optimize blade performance.
In addition, the cutting head can be customized with optional accessories such as a cutting engraver for better cleaning of the blades, a Laser Sight for optimal cutting precision or Board Return Arms for easy removal of freshly sawn boards.
The operator controls the cutting head conveniently from a remote location, adjusting the up/down and forward/reverse motion with variable speed controls. Thanks to advanced systems such as SW10 Setworks, PLC1, PLC2 or Accuset 2, the thickness of the board is set only once and the head automatically returns to its initial position after each cut.
The LT70 HEAVY DUTY sawmill features a wide and sturdy track, complete with a plank removal conveyor, squeegee roller and an operator station. The Super Hydraulic package allows easy handling of logs weighing up to approximately 3 tons and includes features such as log leveling roller, double vertical angles, motorized rollers and bi-directional log turner. The rail can be extended with extension rails, log loading platform, sorting table or raised legs to accommodate different processing needs.
